![]() ![]() Her family is grateful as we are all avid skiers including her grandchildren and even her great grandchildren. For the next ten years, Peggy got up at 5am, made sandwiches and drove her family most every winter weekend to the southern Teir where we all developed a love for skiing. Soon we joined the ski club Holimont, south of Buffalo New York. She learned to ski as a youth, then in 1965 she started her family skiing at Powder Mill park. Yet, in her unfettered and cheerful way she continued raising her three children, and took over Orrin’s electro plating business which she ran for the next twenty years. Sadly, Peggy lost her first husband Orrin to cancer in 1972. Following in her mother’s footsteps Peggy volunteered for decades for Rochester Community Players, assisting and managing with all things costumes. She volunteered her time and love to Rochester Opera Theater by singing in numerous operas, hosting performers and directors from NYC, and assisting with costumes. Peggy was a congregant and sang in the choir of the First Baptist Church in Penfield New York for more than 55 years. Theater, music, family, friends and fun were her passions in life. As a youth Peggy was loved and cherished by her family. She was soon joined by her sister Pat who became her life long best friend. I have now sent multiple unanswered emails to both Blake and Kirsten. Blake's idea of his role in a closing is to attend, have the respective parties sign on the lines, and then head back to the office. Had Blake made everything crystal clear, I would not be writing this poor review. I personally discussed this concern with Blake and he continues to believe that he did nothing wrong and made everything crystal clear (hence the pompous reference). ![]() Blake failed to do his job as our attorney and likewise failed to mitigate the issue at hand. As result of the closing, we are now left with over $3,000 of structural damage which must be paid for out of our own pocket. As result of Blake's failure to properly communicate the issues at hand, we, as first-time home buyers, were unaware of which issue(s) was/were being argued in hopes of obtaining a credit. Without any notice, the attorney assigned to our case (Kirsten) could not attend and Blake filled in. Likewise, any open issues were left for resolution at the closing table. We discovered a few issues during our final walk through, and the seller's attorney was unavailable prior to our closing (the following day). My girlfriend and I recently purchased our first home and Webber Law (Kirsten) was recommended to us by our realtor. If you are looking for an attorney who treats you indifferently and feels as though you are just another number to add to the books, then Blake Webber is your guy! If there was a better definition for pompous it would be Blake Webber.
