Travel back in time with interactive and informative exhibits that display the deep history of the Beaches community. Overall, I recommend this museum.Experience the history and culture of the beaches at the Beaches Museum. Directions were confusing and I had to cross the bridge twice to be able to get to the museum parking lot. The downside for me was to get to the museum. The Planetarium Show was great too!! We learned so much and the guy made it entertaining, fun, and interesting. The lady was nice, friendly, and able to answer our questions. It was only the 3 of us there, plus another family of 3. We went on Saturday, and it wasn’t crowded. The animal show felt more like a private show. On the first floor all the exhibitions were great!! Very informative and kept me wanting to read and learn more and more! ![]() The museum is small, three floors, but the third floor doesn’t have much, besides the exhibit of some fossils. MOSH it was our fist time visiting and it was a great experience!įirst of all, the discount for EBT cardholders helped me a lot to save money! We purchased the tickets for the Planetarium and Animal Exhibition as well, and it was totally worth it. ![]() Would not recommend anyone waste their time or money. We spent about 90 mins total at the museum and have no need to go back. Nemo’s organ on the Nautilus submarine? Only 4 of the keys work! Then my daughter tried to play one of the games in the human body exhibit, and the joystick only worked up and down but not right or left. So, we just explored the exhibits…only to find half of the stuff didn’t work! Want to learn about the different types of power? Only 2 of the 5 or 6 interactive stations work! Want to play Capt. I can’t comment on any of their shows as I didn’t want to pay for them or be tied to a schedule when we’d never been there before and didn’t know what to expect. I want to be able to explore the museum at my leisure and decide as I go whether I’d like to catch a show or not, instead of having to commit and stick to a schedule. Then you want to see an animal or science show? $5.95 per person for each show! They even charge that same fee to touch the invertebrates in the touch tank, and only offer 1 or 2 opportunities a day! Not only does all this add up real quick, but it requires you to decide what shows you want to do upon arrival so you can buy the tickets at the entrance. You want to go to the planetarium? $5.95 per person. The ticket price seems reasonable, until you realize all shows are a separate charge. I try to only write positive reviews since there are enough complainers out there, but this is truly the worst museum I’ve ever been to. ![]()
